Start with the finish you want
Solid, metallic and pearl finishes do not all use the same process. A direct-gloss system may complete colour and gloss in one topcoat, while a basecoat system uses a separate colour layer and compatible clearcoat. Pearl effects may require an additional layer and more controlled application.
Treat the products as one system
Primer, filler, basecoat, reducer, hardener and clearcoat must be selected for compatibility. Mixing unrelated products can affect adhesion, drying and final appearance. Before buying, share the repair type, vehicle colour and working conditions with the supplier.
Preparation determines the result
A premium coating cannot hide poor preparation. Clean the surface correctly, repair damage, use the right abrasive steps and apply the specified primer before colour. Professional guidance at this stage can prevent costly rework later.
